EVIL aim to always do right for both the client and the project and the design is very clearly integral to how things turn out. Design is everything from the colours used, the spacing and the fonts but primarily it’s what it needs to do combined with how it works in the simplest and most suitable way.

So that said we don’t limit ourselves to browsing through design blogs and immersing ourselves straightaway in Photoshop. It’s good to get influence and ideas from all over… For instance the Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds website site is based on a stained glass window in St.Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol that was smashed in the reformation and then put back together with coloured glass filling in the gaps. It’s all over the place, erratic and wonderful.

We may say that ‘EVIL design and build websites but we also do a lot more than that depending on what a project needs. So video production and editing, animation, illustration and audio are all EVIL practices for work as varied as record sleeves and posters to the video/animation for the David Bowie - Station to Station website.
