Vintage Guitar Boutique is a specialist online store where you can preview true classic guitars in all their finery. We really wanted to let the people using this site get up-close to the guitars and went for the largest, highest definition imagery possible. The design was all about clarity and space, we spent a long time looking at other guitar sites on the web and decided to ignore all other influence and just go for 'big guitars'.

There's a great little jQuery plugin called backgroundPosition by Alexander Farkas that we used to allow users to move gently over the zoomed in images so you can really explore each guitar up close. We worked really hard on this project to get iOS devices feeling really great as well.

Graeme and Julian are a pleasure to deal with. They made every effort to understand my company's market, and produced a website and CMS I am extremely happy with. Many thanks guys!
