Basement Jaxx are a top British electronic dance music duo from south London consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. You may know them from their top-ten hits such as 'Where's Your Head At?', 'Bingo-Bango' and Evil favourite 'Dracula'.

The original design for this site was done by Mat at Big Active, he's done all of the Basement Jaxx sleeves and mighty fine they are too. All we've done is to smarten things up a bit and give it a bit of space, bit of a spring clean more than anything.

The main job on this rebuild was to bring the site up to date and replace the Flash animation at the top with shiny jQuery so that iOS devices can see it. We also built a music player using the brilliant jPlayer plugin. Finally we got rid of an old-skool frameset and replaced it with AJAX so that the music could play uninterrupted as you browse the site.

Straightforward to deal with, easy to understand, EVIL do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it and the results are always effective & user friendly.

I hate to say they do what it says on the tin but they do - and in a world where so many don't, that's a real bonus.
